August is National Black Business Month, and we recognize the Black-owned businesses in Dallas/Ft. Worth. Black business owners account for about 10 percent of U.S. businesses and about 30 percent of all minority-owned businesses. On August 17 from 6:00-8:00 PM, The DEC Network will celebrate Black Business Month by recognizing both Black entrepreneurs and people of color entrepreneurs in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, particularly small business owners with a thriving track record of performance and community impact.
