August is National Black Business Month, and we recognize the Black-owned businesses in Dallas/Ft. Worth. Black business owners account for about 10 percent of U.S. businesses and about 30 percent of all minority-owned businesses.

On August 17 from 6:00-8:00 PM, The DEC Network will celebrate Black Business Month by recognizing both Black entrepreneurs and people of color entrepreneurs in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, particularly small business owners with a thriving track record of performance and community impact. This event will highlight the achievements of legacy business owners as well as emerging entrepreneurs.

This engagement will consist of an award presentation to our winners, light bites, entertainment and a small cocktail hour for guests, and overall fellowship with our Black entrepreneurs and community members. Come join us!
