Small Business Workforce Recovery Grant Program

The Small Business Workforce Recovery Grant Program provides financial assistance to Tarrant County small businesses whose workforces have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tarrant County has developed a Small Business Workforce Recovery Grant Program which will distribute $25 million of the federal funds received under ARPA to provide financial assistance to Tarrant County for-profit and non-profit small businesses. The grant application period opens on Tuesday July 11th at 12 noon and funding will be distributed on a first-come, first served basis.
Business Grant Eligibility:
Must qualify as an Impacted Industry as defined by the U.S. Treasury and adopted by
Commissioners Court.
Must be physically located and operating in Tarrant County since 1/1/2020.
Must have had 50 or fewer employees as reported on 1st Quarter 2020 Form 941.
Owners of multiple businesses are only eligible to apply for ONE business. All owners must
be disclosed within the application.
Grant amounts up to $27,500 for qualifying non-profit and for-profit businesses.
Deadline to apply August 31, 2022 at 5 p.m. or until funds are depleted.

Construction and Landscaping

Healthcare
Mortuary Services
Manufacturing

Retail stores that do not sell essential household goods
Full Business Criteria:
Must be physically located and operating in Tarrant County since January 1, 2020.
Must have had 50 or fewer employees as reported on 1st Quarter 2020 Form 941.
