Though 2020 saw many events canceled, Global Entrepreneurship Week Fort Worth (GEW FW) achieved new heights while conducting all of its events virtually. As we start a new year and leave behind 2020, let’s take a sneak peek at what made the 2020 edition of GEW Fort Worth special.
Held the #1 spot of most events in the USA! Yes, this year’s GEW Fort Worth was ranked #1 in the United States with 93 virtual events scheduled across 5 days. See how Fort Worth compared to other cities

Made for entrepreneurs: Out of the 1593 attendees of GEW FW, our largest faction was entrepreneurs who made up 66% of total attendees signaling a change from the previous years’ trend.

39 countries represented: Moving to a virtual format was a decision that the pandemic made for us, but it allowed participants to tune in from 39 different countries across the globe. Using technology, GEW was able to bring entrepreneurs together from multiple continents. In addition to this major achievement, GEW FW offered events in 3 languages that are most commonly spoken in Tarrant County — English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

93 events: Being #1 is not the only highlight of this year’s GEW. We had 98% participation in all these events with 9,377 hours logged into our online platform by participants.
