Fort Worth is home to a wealth of resources designed to help business owners and entrepreneurs launch and grow their business. From city and county resources to non-profit foundations and for-profit companies, our area is committed to helping grow our economy by supporting the birth of new companies. However, launching a new company can be tricky and far too often people looking for help with their business spend too much time trying to track down the right resource at the right time.
That’s where Sparkyard comes in.
Our mission is to help companies grow and prosper by providing business owners easy access to needed services through area resource providers. We strengthen the Fort Worth entrepreneurial ecosystem by partnering with resource providers to:
- Raise awareness to increase entrepreneurial activity and network access
- Identify gaps in services and promote entrepreneurial growth by initiating innovative programs and strategic alliances
- Create a continuously improving process for providing quality services
- Find new ways to increase funding for resource provider programs
- Measure economic impact
Finding Resources for Your Business
Sparkyard is a cost-free platform that provides a broad array of information and services to entrepreneurs. One critical component of our Sparkyard platform is the Resource Navigator, which is a referral service that provides:
- Easy access to a specialized network of local service providers offering a broad range of expertise
- Quick links to the appropriate resources to assist in starting or growing a business
- Customized results based on search parameters filled out by users
The Sparkyard website also features guides on launching and expanding your business, how and when to pursue funding, and a one-stop-shop community calendar to quickly see all the events relevant to business owners and entrepreneurs.
Anyone can access the network by visiting https://www.sparkyard.co/and selecting Resource Navigator. There is no cost to the participating resource providers or to entrepreneurs / small business owners.
In addition to accessing resources through the Sparkyard website, entrepreneurs seeking referrals to resources can also call 682-351-2563 during normal business hours to speak with me in person. Stay tuned as we announce office hours where you can reach us in person.
